A Note from Our Founder
I started Stamford Insurance in 2014, after moving to New Zealand from the UK where I spent 35 years in the insurance and financial services industry. What struck me soon after arriving was a gap in the market – there was no local equivalent to the robust, post-completion warranties used across the UK and Europe.
That realisation led to Stamford’s creation. Over a decade later, with more than 14,000 policies issued, I’m proud of the role we’ve played in improving confidence in new builds and helping our clients safeguard their projects and deliver greater peace of mind to buyers.
